Ok. There are A LOT of negative reviews about Inter-State Nursery. I checked the comments and ordered with caution. My experience was overall positive. You have to be patient... shipping was SLOW for my order (5-6 weeks). Inter-State gives you honest descriptions: "bulbs" "bare roots". Follow the planting instructions, and KEEP THE SHIPPING LABEL. You save money by practicing patience for your order to arrive and by being persistent to grow from roots and bulbs. It's totally worth it! If your plants don't survive after all of your best efforts, send in the label and ask for new ones. It says a lot that the company is still in business (64 years strong) despite the negative reviews. If you want big lush green plants that arrive quickly then order plants from a first-rate online or in-store nursery that ships live plants in pots. You pay for the difference. My comments are in no wise connected to a promotional offer or free plants. I ordered with my own money, my own risk. I'll definitely order again!

Ordered 13 plants in March, all arrived by May in time for planting. All leafed out quickly after being put in the ground. All roses setting buds with some already in bloom. One rose and one rhododendron looked a bit rough in the beginning, but given time they came back. Very happy with the prices and health of the plants I purchased!! Will definitely order again.

I ordered 4 blackberry bare root plants. The weren't delivered until the first of June. They didn't look when they arrived, but gave them almost 3 weeks to develop. No greenery appeared. Contacted Interstate and they require the shipping label to provide a replacement because "it provides the information they need." Seems like the order number should link to all of that. Or, they''ve found a great way to not provide replacements. There a number of nurseries that can meet my needs that don't play this game. I'll be using them.

I had ordered from this nursery years ago and was always satisfied with my purchases. After I completed my landscaping I had no need to continually order as the plants I received thrived and returned each year to my delight. We recently moved to a new home and after settling in it was time to decide what I wanted and where I wanted it. When my catalog came I felt like a child in a candy store. I poured over the pages to make my decisions and ordered. After I placed my order I waited to get them and they came at the appropriate planting time in excellent condition and well packaged. The plants were vibrant and strong and I received exactly what I ordered. Once again inter-state nurseries you have done a fabulous job and looking forward to enjoying these for many years to come. Great plants at exceptional prices thank you.

I cannot believe this company! Do not buy anything from them ever! I put my order in before the shutdown, then went back to check 4 days later on april 28.thr status and they said processing time was 2-3 weeks and shipping was the same. That would b the end of May. I needed all of the flowers in the ground before then. Tried to call a million times, busy signal all the time, so I emailed. Took over a week for a response and they were just sorry I wanted my order cancelled but it was already in the shipping department, this was May 9. The amt if 438.00 came out of my act on May 20. I emailed again to cancel this order. They said exactly the same thing 2 days later. These people r crooks and negligent to customers with serious questions. Please save your money and never buy from them. I can only imagine what 438.00 is getting me. This just makes me sick.
